Devon has an unusual characteristic for an electrician. Much of it went up over a relatively concentrated period, which means a lot of the housing shares the same era of panel, the same wiring practices and the same circuit layouts. When one house on a street starts showing problems, the neighbours often have the same issue a year or two behind.
That makes assessment quicker here than in a town that grew piecemeal. We know what we are likely to find before opening the panel. Devon is a short run from Calmar, so residential troubleshooting, panel work and lighting are all worth the trip rather than being turned down as too small.
